You think that motor would look good powder coated like this? Just gloss black, Jesse?

I just like the contrast of the blonde aluminum cases and heads with the cast black shovel cylinders. The bike isn't going to have a ton of chrome on it so I was thinking just little accent bits on the motor would look good.

So where are we at on parts Jesse? I know you said you made an order from S&S with the Rocker Boxes, .10 over pistons, pushrods for the new tappits and a few smaller parts from them and V-Twin. You have the Leineweber can in stock already and we're going with the Kibblewhite Black Diamond valves and springs right?

Just trying to get everything straight in my head lol.

Been waiting for the S&S order..
They been holding off on sending it due to the back-order on the boxes ..
I have a few other items that are for another job that I kinda need to go forward with..
After a long wait I called and ask if they could send what they have .. Said no problem ...

Been checking the UPS tracking and it said the order will be in today, well .. the day is almost over and no UPS ...

OK ... Back to the tracking to find out what happened to the order ...

    What Da #@* .... ??

To late to call to find out what's going on ...
Will make that call in the morning ..
(I got a feeling that the back-order has been filled and they wanted to send it all out on one order..??)

Shoot, it was almost at my door .. !!
No Biggie, it'll give me a chance to grow my beard a bit longer ...

Sounds good, I figured parts were going to take a bit to get together for sure. Hopefully I'll have a pretty kick ass motor soon though, if I don't go broke first building this bike lol.

    Now I wouldn't say that ....

Think their motive was to save me some shipping cost...
They haven't done free shipping in a long, long time...

Being I was in somewhat of a hurry for parts that they did have in stock, told em to go ahead and send what they had, which was the order that was almost at my door....

Bless their hearts, they're trying ....
    _______________________________________________

Parts will be in Monday ... some of them ..
Seems that the order was split up and both are on the way to me, we think .. ??

Not all that sure about what's going on with the tracking ...

S&S said that someone on their end found a problem with the order and that's why it was being returned to them ...
Perhaps, being in a hurry wasn't the best thing to be .. !!

When it comes to keeping a eye on the tracking of a shipment, it kinda like watching .......

Tell me about it... USPS is the worst about tracking, it’ll get delivered before the tracking is updated lol.

Well now, in a effort to keep busy waiting on parts to show up was this job ....

Owner said to Copper Powder-Coat them ....
Ok ... First was a 0.010" clean up bore, glass bead blast and then the Powder ...

Under the tape is Chrome Powder-Coat ....
(Changing the owner's name to ...." Tony Two Tone" ... Lol)

After all the Powder is laid on, the fins will be Diamond Cut ...

While I would never want to see this done to a stock motor, for what you are building it is seriously bad ass. I did red on my old Sporty chop and always loved the way that bike looked.

You really do nice work bud.

Yup that copper stuff aint really my cup of tea lol. That front end is interesting though!

I got my frame back yesterday though! SpeedKing Racing drop seat installed, also got the oil tank mounted, got a new swingarm, rear fender and dual rear caliper mount from him.

I just moved into a new place, new construction and a new street so I've had a few problems with mail from all the companies over the past few months but here lately it's been good. Fingers crossed! lol. Honestly most of the stuff that gets shipped USPS is delivered in 2-3 days to tracking isn't that important I guess.
