All parts are ready for assembly...

The taillight I whored away from Dragstews has been polished...

Frame has been stripped of my 28 rattlecan fiasco and Painting Jesus who did my tins has completed the frame

Looks awesome pictures don’t do it justice

Sissybar is rechromed after welding on exhaust mounting tabs for the upsweeps
Velocity stack, cover and mounting bits chromed/polished.

                        Assembly soon.......

Looking good , nothing like being on the downhill side . If all parts are available to you and in your garage it's a great time to be able to put it together.
My own '57 project has been put on a Covid-19 hiatus due to my motor Jesus being in the Covid-19 serious high risk mode at the moment. I thought in about another month I would have been able to post a start-up , but alas, this is not going to be. It's ok though, rather see him pull through safely.

I had to deliver these parts to my motor Jesus as well as some stuff that I had chrome polished for his own projects and I asked if it was OK to come by the shop (He's 65 and in the hi risk group) and he was like "who gives a fuck you're gonna die of something" ha ha Ha way to take it in stride

It's good to have all parts in house and ready...

How close are you to being on the road?

Added floorboard tabs and new lower gas tank tab ( old custom one was broken ). The hubs have been gone through. Rear brakes done. Front brake needs fluid and testing after I cleaned it up . Transmission is ready but not in. Some brackets and spacers were made and installed . I swapped the legs in the front end to have the spool hub on the show side of the bike. Replaced front end fluid. Went through carb.
Removed old round oil tank and installed dented horseshoe and added battery tray with brackets added to enclose the battery area and plate to hold 3 circuit breakers.
Was going to wire it and add some loom holders for the speedo, clutch and brake line ( probably a combo of custom and stock style holders ) but decided I really want the motor in place to see how to route them neatly. It has a magneto so I'm looking to find a decent O.E.M 14t kick gear locally before I install the tranny. I'm wiring it for a battery and a timer so that way ( being that I never had one before ) if the mag gives me headaches I'm throwing a stock timer back in that hole. Personally I don't care for how a magneto looks ( look like Jimmy Durantes nose on the side of the motor ) so I won't cry if it doesn't work out.
General hole tapping and cheeseball engineering repair was done already. Clutch plates were gone through , I believe I already removed cleaned and greased the hub bearings already but I'll have to re-check before install.
The bike hasn't been on the road since 2001 so my basic plan was to keep it as is and see how I like a long bike. If I do I'll change the front end to a narrow girder with a 5 spoke spoolie Invader that I have for it. After that I'll decide if I want to break it down again and change whatever and paint it up.
I won't post up any pics on your post ( I've already said enough ) . Seems like no one around here can keep their shit on separate threads anymore . Same shit being thrown up all over the place.
