Be a good idea to plug the oil port leading from the pump to the breather passage ....

I believe the top part on the oil pump is the feed so I have removed that and will plug it

These 2 ports on the motor were vented into the primary



So...do I “T” the 2 ports on motor and vent them down a 3/8 hose to back of bike?

Waiting on a splined belt drive from BDL...The new one I borrowed from my 52’ pile was for a tapered shaft..DOH!!

Don't worry about plugging the hole in the motor case cause it's not there on a 65 case ...



Here's what you have ....

The fitting that is circled in red needs to go ... Pull it out of the case and install a 1/8" npt plug ....

Fitting circled in blue is your case vent ....
If ya wanted to be trick ...
You could install a check valve on the vent line ...
Lets air out but none goes back in ..

The fitting in the case closest to the oil pump should be removed and the hole plugged with a 1/8NPT pipe plug. The larger vent fitting down lower should be vented to the atmosphere. I just run a line down the right side of the frame. You can wrap it around back of the transmission and direct it at the chain, stock style, but that kinda keeps the back of the bike messy.

Looks like he was circulating oil into and out of a tin primary. No wonder it leaked HaHa.

Nope not a goddamn thing he’s trapped at a time period between 1936 and 1947 he wears a rainbow beret and calls himself master of all Knuckles. He also smokes cigarettes now out of one of those foot long extension things. He’s kind of turned into a douche since I sold him that knuckle or should I say worse douche. Can’t even ride with me anymore because “I am of a lower socio-economic level due to non knuckle ownership” What the hell is this nonsense?

I removed it. Think it was a 74, maybe too big but compensating for throttle shaft leak? Had a 72 in it but when I upped it to the 74 it was like adding another cylinder so that’s what I ran.

Now.....to chrome or not? Dual bowl or not? BOTH?!?!?
