I think you've been sniffing too much of your anal vapors let's get back to reality

The frame WAS held together by Bondo when it was in your filthy hands who knows how it got there but whatever. Now, after getting blasted down to bare metal and expertly repaired the only bondo on it would fit on the tip of my finger that I used to blend some welds

The pipes will look fine after I clean them up get all that burnt oil off from the (previously) leaky pushrod seals and sketchy oil pump connections.

I making room on my wall for more awards that are sure to be bestowed upon me when this turd is finally polished & back on the road.

I'd bake that by my oil burner or some other way for a couple of days to harden the paint up before sending it back.

It's sitting in a 72 degree shop with plenty of dry heat. Been doing a coat then dry over the course of 4 days...2 primes then 4 paint...Going to put three coats of clear over the course of the day today and then it'll sit drying in the shop all night, all day Wednesday and then I'll drop it off at Motor Jeezus shop on Thursday but should be nice and cured by then. Thanks for the tip..

Years ago my knucklehead frame was painted and sat for 6 weeks before assembly.
Paint was still soft. After that , no matter what I paint or have painted it goes above the burner for a couple of days or untill it stops smelling from baking in.

Wow did you put the paint on with a roller? Ha ha Ha. Maybe a couple more days of bake time wouldn’t be a bad idea. There’s gonna be so many people wanting to lay hands on this award-winning Panhead and I can’t have fingerprints being left in my soft is puppy shit paint

Paint curing ain't like it looks. Like old people (as you are soon to become) it's slow to get hard.

Mister Leg is wise and a few days extra beats a hurry.

I buy a couple of pool noodles then chop and slit them to protect tubes during handling and assembly.

All good info thanks and for frame protection I use the pre-slit HVAC pipe insulating foam.

Paint out of a spray can or prime is not going to last.
I bet i could scratch that shit off.
