    Things left to do:

Wire handlebars for internal throttle/hi/low beam/horn

    bolt on tank

    bolt on seat

    start kicking

Clear some space for all the trophys & plaques this AWARD WINNING PANHEAD is sure to receive.

I'd like to ride it tomorrow but probably another day or 3

He breaks the bolt that holds the kicker to the arm.
Instead of easy out the bolt.

So its a beautiful Sunday morning & the BBQBIKER opens the garage and rolls out his freshly made over Award Winning Panhead, Looking forward to a nice morning breakfast ride in the cool mist of the early autumn.

A couple of prime kicks and then the starting kick bike fires off and the kicker pedal falls to the ground. The sad Davestune legacy rears its head again...I didn't really think I had to magnaflux every fucking nut and bolt on this for stress cracks but I guess so.

Some people say it could've been slop in the kicker pedal but what do they know? I just know that I was denied breakfast and I blame Davestune for yet again costing me my precious dollars.

Did I blaze the kicker arm off with a grinder? Of course I did why not I'm honing my grinder skills and the thing is junk anyway but dave wants to focus on that and not the $.12 grade one bolt that he probably got from the dollar store.

And now daves talking trash about how he would've used an easyout blah blah blah & used a giant hammer to pound the thing back into shape what the fuck is the point it's garbage I just ordered all new shit

I also see this as an opportunity to get rid of the last of the Shovelhead junk that was on here like this kicker cover that should be a period correct pigsnout style. But hey that's what you get when you buy a parts bike!

S&S makes a super nice Ol' School kick cover with some thoughts in up-grades ...

Harley Davidson 33277-36. S&Sģ kick starter cover kit. Vintage. Cover is cast in 356-T6 aluminum and 100% CNC machined.
Additional material has been added around the kicker boss for strength and stability.
A single bushing used for complete oiling. Utilizes stock hardware and filler plug, gasket included.
    Made in USA!

Also Indian Larry's kick arm is SS and has a design that's different from all the rest ...

I-beam forged construction kick starter arm is unbreakable featuring a polished hi-lited stainless steel finish.

Bottom allen cap screw clamps arm to kicker shaft. Top pedal bolt is a countersunk allen.

    BTY ...
How did the Air Horn turn out looking .. ??

The "KickArm" that gave up the ghost on BBQ was some real Old shit ...
1936 to 53 Era to be precise...
In 54 the Mo-Co was just starting to add HP to the Pan motors and needed a better design kick arm than the old one piece arms of yesteryears ...

    And for a Kick-Ass Pedal ...

Guaranteed to rip the hide right off your leg, in the event of a kick-back ... !!

I got to get me one of them kicker covers and I already got a replacement OEM style kicker arm and popsicle pedal so I'm good there and yes the airhorn came out very nice thank you

Jesse how do you think that cast finished on the kicker cover would chrome up? The rest of the trans isn't polished or anything so maybe I'll just leave it as is Meaning I would just bolt on the S&S cover and run it
