Sportster Head Gasket

I want to make sure the head gaskets on my bike are correct. I put a big bore kit on it (883 to 1200) and got the gaskets for a 1200. BUT, they seem like they are smaller than the cylinder. Is that correct? I probably should have measured them but the gaskets stick out into the cylinder. The piston does not touch them but I was worried what that might do.
Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

You are correct to be concerned. The gasket must not be smaller ID than the bore, ever. You have the wrong gaskets.
