    Default Nuts, bolts, washers.

Is it just me? When Im out walking the dog or in a parking lot or where ever, and I see a nut, bolt, or washer (or tool), I pick it up put it in my pocket and take it back to my shop and add it to my collection of nuts, bolts, and washers (or tools).

I live in the sticks and running to the hardware store takes time so my nut&bolt collection is very important to me.
I am running low and was actually looking on CL to see if any were for sale around me.

I order online to restock because it's MUCH cheaper than driving to a hardware store for the same parts. I save specialty hardware though.

Bolt buckets eventually distil down to nothing but hardware I don't use so I keep that shit down to a couple of cans.

Definitely picking stuff up when I find anything useful. I work at a huge factory where the maintenance guys just throw nuts and bolts all over the floor when they repair stuff. They always change the hardware when they open something up, so hey, free stuff.
