LOL Hell I wouldn't live in Chicago if I made 3 times what you make a year..... I use to go there 3 times a year to the fair grounds in Elgin I believe it was to a toy show..... It's a nice place to visit but I sure as hell wouldn't live there....

Spent a large part of my childhood and a bit of time after I got out of the Army in the Phoenix area, now looking more in the mountains, around that magical 5,000 ft elevation mark, so Mrs. Doom can have some snow every year. Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, are all in contention. Colorado and Utah are not particularly retiree friendly unless you have deep pockets and once we both retire that will certainly not be us, lol. California is just too damn expensive although if I hit the lotto then San Diego would be a winner for me.

I really like the southeast as well, but the humidity and my arthritis just don't get along!

Unity lamps rock-put a bit of Chicago craftmanship on Brown Sugar as a souvenir!
