Change headlight mount and / or bucket on Sportster for longer forks

Hey guys, my bike (09 XL1200L) has 6 inch extended forks, I'd like to go to 8. The problem is that my headlight won't adjust down far enough (even now with the 6 over). I currently have the Joker Machine bracket, but I obviously need something else, the Joker just doesn't have enough adjustment.

I'm willing to change the whole bucket but would like to retain my Daymaker light. Is there an aftermarket bucket, preferably chrome, that will hold the daymaker?

I have a hole in my lower tree but its pretty far back and I'm concerned any bracket I mount there will hit the neck.

Also not sure how much of a wiring mess I'm going to get into trying to change out the bucket.

Would like to keep everything chrome.

Thoughts on best way to do this?

No answers yet so I'll give it a shot.
I think you're going to have to ditch the JM bracket.
See if you can have a mount made (machine shop) that will utilize the trip tree hole.

Believe I have this sorted out. Going to use a mount/bucket from a custom. Thanks!
