    Beautiful tank on a very nice T500 on the best welding forum. I like the adapter on his bike lift too.

    Note he welded it with oxy-acetylene. Modern hobbyists tend to be unaware of the wonderfullness of OA. That's a mistake. If you have a cutting outfit get a welding tip or several and practice. Ample advice lives here:

    A superb gas welding reference. You want the 1939 edition which is the most detailed and covers equipment and practices from when OA was king of multiprocess welding.

    many a beautiful car was customized using oxy-acetylene. all my pocket books from the 40's 50's and 60's show many greats of the industry with one in there hand. but there wasn't an option then lol.

    In the right hands Oxy Acetylene is amazing. I can remember when I was in grade school my dad taking a bet that he couldn't set two Prince albert cans curve to curve and weld up one side across the top then down the other without dropping a hole anywhere and it had to hold water. Hell he never stopped talking and joking just made it look like no big deal.
