    Hardtail vstar build

Building a hardtail vstar 650. Had a friend help me with doing all the frame work last spring and finally getting to the rest of it. Did a single backbone and a fully hardtail frame. Tank is mounted and have a fake oil tank for the electric.
Waiting for the fender before I figure out the seat and then controls. Stainless single carb manifold is started and then hopefully a set of stainless exhaust.

That is a great start. The single backbone will really make it stand out from most Vstar builds. Look forward to seeing your progress.

Wish I could see it sitting on the ground. How much ground clearance does it have?

Could you post a photo of the driveshaft side? Thanks!

          Interesting build.

Good choice of a CV since a non-CV 40mm would be a bit large for that displacement.
