Pretty much knew the guide moved ...
In order to see a 45 degree cut the full 360*, the seat going to be super low... And once it's back in service, the guide will be moving even more...
Think I'm going to take a break and call the owner up so he can take a look at the really fine mess...

Hard for me to see that being the photo is so dark ...

Lets go with that for the moment ...

Valve to valve on a stock Knuckle never was a concern cause of the valve head diameters ..
Both was 1.750". Even with a bad-ass cam there was major room ... Not so with the S&S heads..
They stayed with the exhaust being the same as Oem, but, they went with a intake valve that had a head diameter just .010" smaller than a Shovel intake ...

Throw in a cam that's heavy with the TDC valve lifts numbers, and, by Golly Miss Molly, ya better be running down some checks ..!!

Rocker box has a factory defect
Oil passage is drilled in wrong spot in rocker box
S&S , if your readong this, this problem has cost me a top end and repetitive replacement of valves guides and money.

Note position of passage for oil is positioned under the rocker arm shaft not in the recessed area of shaft with oiling port.

This has been pressure tested and found restricted and mic for inpropper position

Note exhaust on this same rocker with correct position of oil port.
