I posted this when I started in the regular section. I feel it belongs more in the sporster section.
This ended up being more involved than I planned but if it works it will be worth it.

Brake and battery box / switch plate. The small amount of suspension adds a additional thing to think of. Like brake mount and fender mount.Click image for larger version

Being a cyclone it has a little less hp but a broader power band. Next it the brake peddle and master cylinder. Then rear fender and sissy bar.

How much clearance do you have under that bike. Amens frame + Girder front end = a pogo ride. Wouldn't want to bottom out. I'll bet that with that front end, you have the turning radius of a semi truck pulling a trailer. Back in the late 70s, I had a similar set-up with a 650 Triumph Bonnie power plant. Looked styling on the highway. Damn near got me killed on the streets of New Orleans.

I'm thinking it's gonna ride terrible. Haha but I have a Ducati hypermotard for the twisties. I road 40 years ago with two guys who had a honda and a triumph like this. They bounced all over the place. I'm pretty sure slow and cool will be the trick.

Made some more progress. Electrical panel answer battery box mostly roughed out.

Since the rear springs are really for appearance if it bounces too much you could probably (I've not personally disassembled a Savior suspension) run a solid tubing collar inside the top spring to turn the frame into a rigid. Bystanders won't know the difference.

I got them used said they were off a fxst I actually had a set like them on my 84 fxst. I'm not sure what make they are I got my first ones from jp cycle. The pedal won't look like that I cut welded and drilled the holes in that one.

My son is a machinist we have talked about him making me spacers that look like springs.

Or maybe toss The springs in favor of rubber.

Still would give a little bit of flex, but would probably be less bouncy, since rubber tends to have some amount of inherent dampening (steel coil springs have damn little)

                    2017 Thread: Amen savior
What's the story with amen savior frames? Hardtail with a soft tail mechanism? I've always liked the frames/hated them but I'm fascinated by em. Anyone got the history on them? How do they ride? Are they super rare for a harley big twin? I'm completely in the dark about em, but I'm interested.
If buildin' old school choppers was easy, anyone could do it... ain't nobody said it's gonna be easy...

Did some more roughed out the fender, mounts, and sissy bar. Had to use my old panheads shift knob. Also got my custom tail light started
