I decided I’m going to widen out a Tc bros hardtail. I never heard back from tfmw again after I emailed them and honestly I’m done waiting for them. This is the second time I’ve emailed them with a question about their products and got no response so I’ll spend my money somewhere else. Thanks for trying to help me find options though. I appreciate it.

I was wondering what you did to piss them off since they won't respond to your emails but they will other people???

I didn’t do anything. About a month ago I emailed them once and just asked if they had any instructions that came with their hardtail’s as far as where they suggest cutting the stock frame for a good fit and never got a response. And then I emailed them once recently about the custom wider hardtail and got no response. Otherwise I’ve never dealt with them before.

It's good to know but I still don't understand why they won't respond to your emails?? That's just odd.....

Some motorcycle small businesses have no social skills.

I agree but for them to respond quickly to some and not at all to another seems odd to me.....

I would bet money they will answer your questions on the phone.
Nobody wants to spend time answering questions by e-mail.
Many only devote time responding to e-mails maybe once a week if you're lucky.

Well then a simple email saying “call us and we’ll discuss what you need” would be nice. And why have an email for sales and customer service if you don’t want to use it. Honestly though I really couldn’t care less. Widening a TC Bros hardtail sounds like way more fun and it’ll be something new for me to do so I’m good with it.

What is the width of the TCBros hardtail and how much ya gonna widen it? Interested to see your plan.
If buildin' old school choppers was easy, anyone could do it... ain't nobody said it's gonna be easy...

Well the axle plate spacing is 8.5”. I’m still waiting on some of the parts for the rear wheel. Once I have everything I’ll figure how wide I need it. I’m going to cut the TC hardtail right down the center of the cross tubes, slug and sleeve them to width, and then I’ll extend the upper rails to meet up with the stock seat post and bend some solid round to bring the bottom rails back to the stock width.
