Good work! I am glad you did not give up.

OK I got these photos turned 90º clockwise and sharpened up.

How wide is the frame between the axle plates? In inches please.
Hard to tell from the photo but is the sprocket dished out?
Is the rear wheel centered in the frame?

Suggestion. Run a string from headstock to center of back tire. Put a weight on the string draping over the back of the tire. Stand in back of the bike to check.

You can just drag the photo with your mouse onto the desktop and it will be yours.

Yeah the rear wheel is centered. The axle plate spacing is 11 3/16” just like the TC Bros sportster hardtail they make for a 180-200mm tire. I centered the wheel using a few different size axle spacers. The sprocket is dished (not sure how much) and I also had to use a 1/4” sprocket spacer so the chain would clear the tire sidewall.

Now that the rear wheel is centered do not let it move. Mark it.
How much space is between that 1/4 inch spacer and the inside of the axle plate?

The brake caliper mount is .375 thousandths or 3/8" then the rest is gravy.
The brake rotor will go on the right side.
The best deal on the rotor caliper and brake is at http://kcint.com

Brake rotor 11.5 inches. Stick with 1984-99 HD parts. Life will be easy.
The rotor should have 2 inch hole or adapter to go down to 2 inch.
The cost of a rotor should be about $54-60 something.
When buying the caliper mount make sure it is for the right side and the caliper is for the right side.

With Kcint DNA they give you the brake reaction arm with the caliper mount and brake.
The brake should be a 4 piston, All for about $189.00

That’s funny, I literally already have everything you mentioned above bought and installed on the bike.

I think the spacer I used on the left side was a 1” axle spacer, then the chain adjuster with a 1/8” wide washer on each side of the axle plate inside the adjuster, and then two 1/8” wide washers on the outside of the adjuster to take up the slack on the axle threads.

The other side I think I used a 3/8” spacer, then the caliper mount, then a 7/8” spacer, and then the same set up with the chain adjuster on the right side.

Also, because the hardtail axle plates were for a 20mm axle, I fabricated shims out of 20ga steel and welded them to the top side of the axle slots to make the spacing 3/4”. It worked out great.

I’m actually pretty much done with the wheel part. I built a box for the battery that the jackshaft sits on. I’ve been busy. Lol

Also mocked up the jockey shifter, and got the tank and rear fender ready to go.

The pics are right side up when they upload so I don’t know why it’s rotating them.

The shifter is still rough because I really haven’t finished it. I’m going to shorten it probably and I’ll know more of what to do with it and how to make it look when I have it on with the forward controls and the tank at the same time. I also have a smaller chrome clutch lever that’s going on it.
