I'm not in any hurry, but I have no choice, gotta put your motor build on the back burner until we catch up.

That screw up with the Post Office check threw a pretty big rock in my pond, I had ordered some parts before that went down and couldn't cancel them... That rock got much bigger with many waves that are touching my suppliers. (Snap-On Man ain't happy with me cause I'm two weeks behind on payments)

I've never hired an Artist before...

Had a order that I did manage to put on hold with the Lieneweber cam ...
He understood the predicament ...

Here's what I told him ...

Me: "Still waiting for the Boy on the J4 cam to come up with the money ... Being he bounce a $500 check on me (long story there) got a bit of a hole to climb out of"

Leineweber; "Well that sucks. Hopefully he can climb out."

Indeed it does....
As me and Tattoo said, earlier in the thread, you have that Sifton 107 cam that came out of your engine, it's still run-able with the heads already set up for that lift... No need to change out the springs (Also buying race flow valves) with that cam grind in play...
That will allow me to finish the build ...
The pushrod covers, you can get new ones at a later date, will turn them with the dents to the inside so they won't be as noticeable...

But, I'm not in any hurry on my end, going to set the motor to the side and cover it up till you can get back on your feet and out of the red on your invoice ...

Three boxes are ready to ship ...

Yea I have another good one..... Why not use the cam you have now and save some money????? That way you can get on the road sooner.....

If you use the cam you have now, you will save cam and tweaking the top end money......... I bet you will save yourself 1K easy...

What I did was throw it out on the table for you to see ...

You sent a motor to me that was ready for the bone-yard ...
I knew the moment it was took apart that this rebuild was going to dig deep into the pocket.
But, with your choices of parts that was used to bring it back from the dead would take most of us years to acquire due to the cost...

The Twin carb motor that's sitting next's to yours had took four years to get to where it's at now. The Gent would save up for a part to purchase, which took a lot of time to do. Some of those parts commanded high $$$ like the S&S P-Series heads, SnS Alum. Big Bore jugs and those Bad-Ass carbs ...

Actually, I was very surprised how fast your motor was going together being the up-grades it was getting done to it.. !!
We took it out of the dark ages and gave it new life with today's Hi-End components.
