Start button recommendations

Hello all. I know this is a kickstart-dominant forum, but I also know that you folks search the web and may have seen something that I may have missed.

I just built an FXR that I TC103 swapped. I don’t have the stock controls. I used a 41-72 horn button as a start button. It is shit.

Can anyone recommend a start button of solid construction that fits 1” bars?

I bought a billet button housing that fits great but it is setup for tiny wire on a ground-only system. Who makes a durable push-to-start button to trigger a relay? Dirt bike?

You can wire one side of your relay coil to switched 12V, and use your fancy switch to ground the other side of the coil to activate the relay. Easy.

I’m on board with what you’re suggesting, but this wire is TINY. I have a hard time believing that it will last if fished through my handlebars.

The wire in the relay coil is much smaller than that.
