Great build so far. I am looking to breathe new life into my CB750, so I am for sure enjoying this thread.

Years ago I got heavily involved in all of the jetting problems with the EPA carbs of the CB750.
I am a very experienced ex Honda shop mechanic.
The #42 idle jet was the only thing that would work. I got the engine to run with velocity stacks very very well.
I had posted a video of this running etc., but now I cannot find the video on Youtube.
YAHOO .com invaded my computer so that when ever I turned my computer on YAHOO immediately popped up.
I could not get rid of them and there were many internet entry asking how to get rid of YAHOO.
Finally I joys cleaned out my hard drive and started over. That is when I lost my You tube video of the CB 750
                  running with velocity stacks.
Later after all of the problems with the EPA carbs. (All the ones after 1970) I just bought a set of 1969 carbs
and all of my problems were over. I just used the 1969 stock carbs and stock air filter WITH built in Velocity stacks.
It ran like a dream and responded to adjustment like a champ. No EPA carb worked as well.
                  I never looked back.

Now years later when I look on the internet and SOHC forum all of the new people to this game are just limiting the air flow
to the carbs with different things like big washers with holes in them. They are just limiting the air instead of increasing the gas flow.
