    Abom79 is rightly famed for his many educational "repair machining" videos.

    Both parts are worth a look even if you aren't a machinist since you can show them to your machinist if you need it done.

    That was awesome, thanks. Been a long time since I worked in a machine shop, and by part 2, I was right back there. during my first and second year apprenticeship, I built aluminum and cast iron pistons for natural gas compressors; tolerances were 0 to +0.001", with the sloppiest for overall length at + or - 0.002".

    Adam's channel is one of many on youtube that are worth study. Joe Piesczynsnki, Robin Renzetti, Keith Fenner,, Tom Lipton, Stephan Gottswinter... the list goes on.

    These channels don't always feature stuff about machining motorcycle or automobile things, but they show how are the problems of machining (and measuring) certain features can be tackled.

    Just what we need, another time vampire, right?
