Brake drum skimming on a milling machine with the wheel assembled.

This gents setup is brilliantly simple. The rest of his channel is worth a look.

Latest incarnation of the brake drum skimming by mill technique.

I love those kind of setups that everybody should have thought up but no one ever did.

How I miss access to a milling machine. Give me a decent mill, lathe, and drill press and I will make you a pile of metal chips to be proud of! Seriously, love creative people who can solve problems with what they have at hand.

Sell a motorcycle and grab a lathe and mill (mill makes drill press redundant unless it's an industrial unit and a mag drill is more versatile while taking less space).

Bonus, you can machine longer than aging lets most people ride. Many retired machinists contract small industrial jobs from home for fun and considerable profit. They often take overflow from local shops who know them.
