    Default rebuilt 96"shovelhead

    Im looking at a fresh rebuilt 96" cone shovel. They are asking 3k. Is that high or what do ya'll think? I've never owned one so i'm unsure of its value. comes with new electric igniton, coil and s&S shorty carb.

    Three for clear title and a rebuilt (properly) engine is a good deal.

    Do you know who rebuilt it or did they say it's been rebuilt???? Do they have receipts???

    If it's built properly and in a good shape, I'd say it's a good deal.
    Just look into the parts that go into building one and then add machining costs and then assuming you would have someone put it together for you, you'll be way past 3 grand.
    I just put together a stock bore stroker and the flywheel assembly and pistons alone is 1800. And then there is all the other bits..
