Default Front brake light switch question.

I'm removing the switch pods on my 89 sportster and replacing with mini switches and whiskey throttle. I know this has been done a millions times. What do guys do about the brake light switch? I obviously need that brake light to turn on when I squeeze the lever to pass inspection. Any knowledge you guys can throw my way would be appreciated.

Probably the easiest way is to use a banjo bolt with a built in switch, available in a lot of places.

Do you need a front brake activated light if you have a rear brake activated light to pass inspection ?

When I go for inspection every Spring they ask to see hand and foot brake activate the tail light individually.

Was unaware they existed. Thanks for the info. Just checked them out. Not the biggest fan of that extra wire sticking out, but can probably tuck it somehow. Was thinking of trying to remove the switch from the pod and try to mount against the lever bracket basically were it sat before inside the pod. Has anyone done that successfully?
