I wanted to post this because I found little info on it. I recently got a sportster and I did a few things to it, one of which was switch from mags to spokes. My bike is an 02 883. I bought a 2001 road king wheel which was a perfect fit. Simply flip the wheel and our good to go. Put a lowbrow chain kit on a the same time. Super happy

That looks good! I bought a RK rear and plan to do the same thing. Did you put in the sealed bearings or stay with the tapered bearings? If you used the tapered did you have to use spacers? It's been a while since I bought the wheels so I don't remember what year they are exactly... -
I just used the original bearings that were in the bike. It’s the same width as the stock sportster so you just reuse your original spacers. It was super easy. Just flipped the wheel and was good to go.Comment
