    Default Cadillac chopper

What's up guys. First chopper, first time posting. I'm going for a Cadillac themed bike including taillights from a 99 Deville.

More pics coming soon from my phone

Awesome start! Looking forward to this for sure. Can you give the details? Year sportster? hardtail manuf? hardtail geometry? Other plans for the seat, sheet metal, etc?

When you said "Cadillac themed chopper" I barfed in my mouth a little, but I'll be damned this looks pretty fucking sweet so far. Keep the updates coming!

Thanks everybody! I started with an 81 ironhead sportster and a weld on hardtail kit from voodoo vintage. It’s a 3” drop and 3.5” stretch. The front wheel, oil bag, and fender are from Lowbrow. I’m not sure about the tank, my friend just had it laying around. The bars are from zombieperformance.

I plan on doing a pretty tall king queen seat to go along with how tall the taillights are. As far as paint goes I think I’m gonna go with PPG Perfect Purple to retain some kind of resemblance to the original bike.

I, too, read "Cadillac themed" and barfed in my mouth a little, then I read "taillights from a 99 DeVille" and threw up on the table.
Then I saw the pictures and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, man! That's gonna be one sweet chop! Keep us updated!

6 or 8 over I think, it’s 30” from the bottom tree to the rockers. It was a drum wheel but I’ve decided against having a front brake and I bought a 21” spool wheel.

The front end has been slowing me down having to make hardware for it but it’s almost ready. In the mean time I made a carb support for the CV and I’m starting to tackle the brakes.

I’ve read some stuff on here about guys using brake calipers from late model Sportsters so I picked one up from a 2000 model. If I can get it spaced right and if it’ll work with my master cylinder I think I’ll be in business.

Aside from the front wheel no longer being a drum this is where I’m at.

I like the proportions it looks balanced.
The hump between driver and passenger seat helps
the looks/ with the sissy bar.
