Those blue tags on your frame and motor are going to make registering in Cali MUCH smoother than if you don’t have them. In fact if I were you I would try and register the bike now before you do anything else. If you change the case and frame, and try and register the bike without the blue tags, you are in for some serious grief. And forget about trying to remove them and replace them on the new frame and motor. That is tampering with a vin and a felony in Cali.whatever you feel is wrong with the frame can be corrected. Good luck in whatever you decide.

It's registered! All good. Thinking I'd better stay safe for now. I'll keep an eye out for another (??) left case that doesn't make me nervous and isn't a bunch of money down the road, but it isn't a priority, I know that. Heard enough horror stories today about CHP holding bikes for weeks checking on numbers, I'm good where I am.

    Thank you!

    It's a 29 min (19.3 mi) via I-105 E ride to do so ...

    BTY ...

If you intend to keep the loose bearing case in play I have a real deal for ya ...

What you see here is a Plug and Play stroker kit from S&S Cycles ...
Very low miles on it too ...

This came out of the 52, we are going to a longer stroke than the 4-5/8" ,,

    This one ....

    We're slicking it up a bit ...

Got some wild ass shi ... aaaa stuff for it ...

The brand new re-pop cam cover is at the chrome shop getting some shiny laid on it ..
Went with a 47 Knuck cover being it was drilled for top-end oiling, we will be using that oil port for a gauge ...

Business name change is a sticky situation.

    Sixth try's a charm.

Right side of the frame look wonky to anyone else?

I don’t see it. Wheel looks centered. How does the wheel sprocket line up in relation to the tranny sprocket? Frame does not look bad at all from the angle shown. Looks like you cut off those funky brackets which in my opinion was a good move.

The tranny plate was stupid and welded stupid so I took it all off, don't know how it lines up and it's hard to mock up... that thing is heavy. Haha.
Yeah I took the brackets off. Didn't even think about it but a bike buddy said it must've had a sissy bar chopped off, explains the weird grasshopper legs. Oof so ugly.

Ya need to ask the Fellow that removed them ...

    Ya see ....
That ol' motor (At one time) was hotter than a firecracker on the fourth of July ....

The Rip-Off guy was taking steps to cover his tracks ...

Tis the reason for the A/M left case ..

Wouldn't the CHP have put new belly numbers on when they blue tagged it or does nobody look at belly numbers?
And what about the VIN? Do they stamp one in if they blue tag? I've got good tags and it's all registered, just wondering.

Also does anyone have any input on ignition coils?

Belly numbers are not used by dmv for vehicle identification number ( vin ) . No they do not stamp frames or motors just blue tag them. Dynatec best coils I ever owned but oem ones good too for stock motor.
