    Shovelhead Odometer

79 shovel. Pulled the speedo and love it. BUT I tried to register it in california and now I have to find a Odometer that has over 7500 miles on it. (i am looking for mine but not hopeful).

Lot of you guys runs without Speedos. Did you just register it and ditch the odometer or do you have one tucked away somewhere on the bike?

Put a "wanted" ad in the classifieds. Say you want a speedometer, doesn't have to work, with an odo that reads about X,XXX miles. I'm sure someone here would be willing to help you out pretty cheap.

I think I have one off a shovel. The face is broke off floats around in there, and it probably don’t work but I think it has about 50k on it. If you want I can dig it up and it’s yours for shipping.

Thank you very much. Found one before I saw this.
