I received the clutch cable today from China.
It is very well made and covered with black vinyl. It had a mid cable adjustment nut also.
It is just like the OEM cable. It is a good product from China.
I was a little worried about the quality but it looks very good.

      Headlight also mounted.

It is now checked off of the final list!

Also got this TC Bros weld on kickstand on. It was difficult to get to the bottom weld soI leaned the bike over and reached the weldment from the opposite side. I used a bright light and mirror. All of the powder coat was removed from the weld area before welding.

How's the quality on the kickstand? Been thinking of throwing my stock (bent and bruised) kickstand in the junk and getting one of those TC Bros ones.

I have one on my XS650 and have no complaints thus far. Feels solid.

            Luky- bike is looking good!

              Thanks VOLDO.
              The kickstand quality looks good.
I have not road tested it but if it looked sketchy I would say so.
The placement of the welds were correct meaning they go with the direction of the frame tubing, not transversely.

Just a note to all the home bike builders.

I was bleeding the front brake and had a lot of trouble to get pressure.
Once before I had this problem with a brand new caliper.
I took the caliper all apart and found out the pistons were really stuck.
I used air pressure to blow them out.
But be careful! When they come out they pop out with a lot of force and can fly across the room!
You could get hurt if any part of your body is in the way.

So on this experience I found out that this brand new caliper (Ultima) was also stuck!
Same remedy . Take it all apart and get the pistons out.
Then it should beed with no problems.

Also for a 4 piston Ultima caliper a 5/8" or 11/ 16" Master cylinder is required.
My stock Roadster Master cylinder was not big enough. The bore was only .550 thousandths. Only 14mm or 9/16".

                        Luky,
What speedo did you end up using?
                        Thanks

JD64K I used the Dime city Cycles speedo because I had to change front wheels so the HD speedo drive fit.
The Dime City speedo had idiot lights built into it too.

I still have the GPS speedo Bought from china. It works on 12V.
You can get them built for bicycles that work on
                          watch style batteries.
