So I lucked out today and finally got one of them barn finds people talk about. I got a basket case 47 wla flathead engine and frame. (That's it for the wla). An old invader style wheel. And three long front ends. 1 is a twisted Springer with (K.S. UNION. R.C) stamped in the bottom tree. The other is a girder with no marking and the third is a 6 over wide glide front end with no markings. Any help identifying who they possibly came from. I know it's a long shot but maybe someone will recognize the Springer atleast.FIG]82643

That damn Photo-kicked-the-Bucket makes it tough to search old threads...
I say that is a P&P girder, you can tell by the built-in zero or 10 degree rake option, the upper and lower trees and the shock mounting did some searching, but couldn't find an original P&P ad that showed the square one, thought at first it was a Fury but that section of the leg above the top pivot is very defining :
(can't post photo from net;invalid file), so these guy incorrectly identified it as a Fury: https://www.lancasterhonda.com/1976-...432&in-stock=1
Original P&P ad:
Got anymore photos of that springer? Top tree, rockers, lower legs?If buildin' old school choppers was easy, anyone could do it... ain't nobody said it's gonna be easy...Comment

It's a Randy Enterprise springer. Some unique features: 'bat-wing' top tree, dimple between springs on lower spring seat, front rails that twist towards each other and funky rockers:

Picked this one up at the Swap meet in Charlotte this weekend. Its right at 18" over but any idea what it is? Thanks to Tatoo for the 16" front wheel, looks right at home on the frontend.
From JJ member CYCLHED: "There are several questions in this thread about I.D. for this front end, but so far no answers. I just picked up this same springer. Anybody know who made them? The rockers are distinct and they have the "bat wing" top plate."
good_ol_boy replied: It looks alot like the same brand springer on this trike in a November 1972 Special Choppers magazine. Springer is from "Randy Enterprises"-
and,
For this one, I keep seeing it on choppers in 70's magazines. I've seen it only on bikes, no ads... but the articles about the bikes always say "Randy Enterprises springer"
The pics are from March 1976 Special Choppers magazine. That bike is called "Twisted Kitty". It says that bike was built by Larry Gorman and Mike Draughter. "Back in 1964, it was a Grand national sweepstakes winner." They didn't know who painted it this time. Bob Hovick bought the bike a few years after Larry died.
