Fab Kevin once called cone motored Shovelheads "The Mr Potato Head of motorcycles" because so much stuff is interchangeable between all the various models. The beauty of that, and this particular bike, is that whatever your favorite version of the shovelhead is, you can turn this into it, no matter what model it was when it rolled out of York.

it's a 1-2 kick bike, nice. now the only issue is either intermediate jet or timing since it does nothing but spit at me when i try to give it gas. nice.

Accel pump was fine, even replaced the internals with the rebuild kit. still spitting.

look in the tanks.... looks like someone dumped acid in the right side tank and dragged it through the beach. good Lord

Not scary at all... Dilute it, move it around everyday for a week... I don't run filters... No need with a clean tank... But it's your tank do what you will...

I built this tank spinner out of an old gear motor worm drive and some old grain bin parts. I have used it clean out antique tractor tanks with lemon juice (from the grocery store) and a hand full of 1/4” square nuts (optional, they help break up the nasty scale) let it run for a weekend, drain, rinse with gas, and it was good to go.
