Trying to plan ahead for the Twine Ball Run. 730 miles one way from Chicago on my Triumph, I plan on doing it in one day. I'm well versed in camping so minumum is acceptable. I'll pick up booze/food closer to the site to keep weight lighter. Heads up too, Nebraska and Missouri have %100 helmet laws. Helmet Laws

Bug spray. KS has HUGE skeeters!
Be careful about gas station beer in KS, it's 3-2 beer and it'll give you a head ache and the shits before you get a buzz.

After a day of riding if ya dont use deodorant the bugs will leave ya alone. (and any girls around) If its still a problem just spill some gas or spread some oil or grease from unda on yourself. If ya want clean undies then start off with a old skid marked set and just trash em when its time for a change.

Hahaha! I always carry to much shit! Doing it this way for the ride to Grass Valley for a change. Except for the no deodorant part, and a few tools that fit what I know I need to pay attention to.

You could skip the extra shirts and just buy one when the one gets soiled to where you don't want to wear it anymore. Depends on how light you want to go. I usually give myself one bag or backpack about the size of a carryon bag, and if it doesn't fit I don't need it. I also tend to skip a tent sometimes not a really good choice.

Over the past few months I have nearly perfected the whole loading the bike up for gypsy riding. I roll my extra socks and drawers up along with the tent in my sleeping bag and put it into a stuff sack and strap that to my bars. I have a little solo side mount bag that I keep random need-to-get-to shit in (sun screen, wet wipes, bandana/shop rag, etc.). I've got a comfortable IWB holster that I keep my pistola in and it has never been a nuisance while riding.
