That is such a great bike. The turtle tank is such an underappreciated piece that looks so good.

As an aside. Anyone have a photo of a turtle tank on a chopper? I'd be curious to see what that might look like.

Reminds me of a buddy years ago who built a nice Panhead only to be rear ended, hard. He rebuilt it, again nice custom paint all the shiny stuff and some drunk at a local watering hole backed his 4x4 on top of it.

Next he rebuilt it as a rat bike and welded a hatchet onto the back to the sissy bar. Last I saw TL he was riding it with no problems, lol.

Got a Rat Bike Buddy back home in Kentucky ....

This Ol Boy got a Knuckle that looks like it wouldn't make it to the end of the block.. !!
He rides it everywhere ... !!! Daytona, Four Corners, Laughlin River Run, Sturgis ... etc...

Not sure but I think it has more "Road Kill" on it than the Law allows...

Look up Bill Gelke. Hard to believe you've been around the antique scene for so long and have never seen his "road dog".

Can't remember the first time I saw "Wild" Bill Gielke and his Road Dog (if I remember right, it was a diesel engine out of a locomotive.) Love the fact that the photo is taken in front of a billboard for the "Riders Edge" course. Very cool.
