Looking around for a neck like the old casted ones, just without the rest of it the casting(where downtubes and backbone come in). I only know of the bitter end choppers necks and a couple others but they only sell the unmachined tube or a funky hourglass lookin neck. Anybody machining some that look close to old oem ones?
Where to find bullneck style necks?

Thanks for the reply, but i am not looking for the actual casting, just the steering neck portion that mimicks the oem bullneck style.
So it would be like this...
But as close to the above picture.
I dont have a lathe, or id machine something up similar. Nobody has made a batch of these?Comment

"Thanks, Terry, appreciate the heads up. I'm kinda confused, though. I stock and sell those necks. Have plenty on the shelf. So, if he wants one, why not just order one from us?"
"What am I missing?"
Al
I told him, "He wants just the neck, the bullneck, not the casting"
"My necks are cut on a lathe from billet steel. They are not casted. So, I'm still confused." Al

Read all the post, scrounge up a swing arm, and cut the neck off and have at it.Last edited by BuddhahoodVato; 02-06-2018, 12:59 PM.Comment
