    Seen the common crack from deck to deck ...
    The crack was V-ed out and fill in with weld and dressed down to stock look...

    Numbers and the boss went Bye-Bye doing the weld-up ...
    With more than a few hours of work .... Back to looking like day one ...

    Those are the numbers that the case had from that day back in 37 ...

    V-Twin offers Motor Number Stamp Kits in their Catalog...
    They are imports...
    The stamps I have did not come from Taiwan Teddy, they be the real deal made right here in the US of A.

    Opps ... I just checked V-T stock for the three numbers kits that they list..

    16-1039 for years 1936-47 is on backorder
    16-1264 .".....".... 1950-69 is no longer Available
    16-0423 .".....".... 1970-99 is in stock

    Nice work, very clean.

    I am sure it is the correct font, but I am used to looking at mid '50s fonts so it looks a bit off to me.

    Harley was never good about consistency, lol

        The owner of this case is an Old Buddy from Kentucky/Tennessee ...
        He use to work for Boswell Harley in Nashville Tenn...
        I did sub work for Bubba Boswell for many years... (Mostly the older Models)

        He has two 37 EL's one 39 EL and a 46 FL that he's going to have me spin together for him...
        I asked him where are all the flatheads at ... ??
        He said those to him was paperweights ...!!! ...



        I didn't say a word ...



        Just nodded my head, and grin ...

                  I have the USA set allso correct height think info is in Palmers, forget what ya call the letters with the lines on the ends
                  But have both comes as a set
                  Nice set, had to use a U in my bastard flathead,ya still building that thing
