    Hey HA96,
Not sure if you found what you needed; I searched for a few hours (okay, lots of technical reading during that time), but only found a thread on a different site, with a post by the guy who made the tool for the plunger conversion; this link to the Greater Atlanta British Motorcycle Association is referenced:
https://gabma.us/tech-articles/ I can't access the leaf spring conversion technical pdf article, but see it listed - perhaps you can get there.
Here is the thread I found it and additional info in: http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/s...ring&showall=1
There is also info for the upgraded leaf spring if you want to do that upgrade only.

Here's a thread that shows the jig he built and the tools to drill, ream and thread the hole: http://www.triumphrat.net/vintage-te...unger-mod.html

    and here: http://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbth...412#Post320412

And since your post was about the 5 speed gearbox, it lead me to some great reading, including this technical article in Vintage Bike Magazine, to upgrade from a 4 speed to a 5 speed, "Changing Triumph 650 4-Speed to a 5-Speed": http://vintagebikemagazine.com/techn...-transmission/

and here, Triumph Transmission Conversions: https://www.scribd.com/doc/23638645/5speed
