    Savage board tracker inspired build

Started on the forks this summer and now moving on to the frame over the winter.

Looks sweet. Hows the fork working for yah? Any particular design specs you shot for (anti dive, trail change, etc) that you like / don't like?

It's stock rake and trail, 35 degrees and just under 6 inches. Travel 4.5 inches. Air shock let's me dial in the spring rate, I like it around 150 psi and it's designed to go to almost 300 so it's right in the middle of the shock design capability. Damping on compression and extension are also adjustable so you can tune it for the ride and roads. The whole assembly is a bit heaver than stock by a few pounds but losing the front fender makes up for that

Really trick looking front end. Frame has great flow as well! Can’t wait to see the motor in and exhaust design.

              engine mounted

              Thanks for the comments.

Mount engine to check fit of sprockets and chain. Some minor tweaks were needed but sits pretty much like I'd hoped. Temp seat in place with no suspension yet.

More work on the seat frame. Red line indicates the rough position of the leather saddle to be added to the frame. I expect about 2 inches of travel under my bum.

Progress on the seat. It's leather sling about 1/4 inch thick. Dyeing could have gone better but it's damn comfortable.

Damn, you’re cranking this thing out. Tanks will look good like that and fit the style perfect. Good on ya.
