    Honda Rebel 450

Has anyone else got a Honda Rebel 450, I've recently got hold of one and I'm looking for ideas on what to do to it. Unfortunately mine has no carbs (long story) but other than that it looks like a good base for a project

I did but it looked like a lot of the photos don't show any more etc on photobucket, so I thought I'd try a fresh thread

At least you looked... There is a way to look at closed photobucket pics.. That is also in a thread on here... Glad to help...

Wife road a 450 rebel about 11 hours one day while we went to 421 the snake,(great bike) but do a search on parts. We no longer have her 450 rebel, but at the time you could not get any new parts for it. Best of luck to you.

One of my favorite bikes I've ever had. I've been riding mine all over the country for years.

Kept it more or less stock, just dressed it up in old Harley/Indian style. Hopefully it'll give you some ideas.

Personally I have not had a problem finding parts for it. But I guess I haven't needed anything too obscure yet. As it is, a good chunk of the parts are interchangeable with CB's and/or Rebel 250's. So most of the time you'll get a pass unless it's something weird. Consult your shop manual, you'd be surprised how many things are the same.

Ride the piss out of that thing man. It'll treat you well and you'll get lots of people asking you about it.

Thanks man, really appreciate the info, liking the look of what you did with yours. The 450 doesn't seem very common in the UK at all so the interchangeable parts will really help
