I guess cutting the back and cafe the seat. Put the original tank on. Some clip ons. Are out of the question for your buddy?

Cuz so far. Without hard tailing it. You got a tough job ahead of you.

      Maybe?

      Uses existing swingarm

You spoke to soon. Late night tonight pulled out an old sissy bar, a set of Z bars and a couple of fishtails. I wanted to do a hard tail but he did not want to do it but he caved in, so I'm going fix the swing arm and brace it. I have a steel rear fender some where, these are all vintage 70's parts I had laying around. Now that I know where we are going I need to make room in the shop and get started.Click image for larger version

Big day today, got the bike on the lift. Rayan came and lent a hand polishing the forks and cases also got a coat of paint on the motor. I mounted the tank, fender, seat and sissy bar also welded up and mounted the exhaust. Controls are on and hooked up, wiring sorted and tested.Click image for larger version

Dude you can get a tcbros hardtail kit or better yet get your own tube and have a few bends made and do it right.
