    VooDoo Vintage Snail Cam tensioners

I'm tired of the saddle adjusters on My XS build so I bought a set of these.
    Has anyone else used them?
    Anything to watch out for?

Custom motorcycle frames for your Metric or Harley motorcycle. Many popular sizes and options. Frames for custom Yamaha XS650, Honda CB350 and Honda CB360, Suzuki LS650 and Harley Davidson Sportster and Buell motors.

I used some like these on my CB750A chopper. Make sure the axle is tight! Make sure you use stops that are strong enough, I sheared off stainless steel allen head i was using as stops

Yep,,, Used grade 8 allen heads as stops,, threaded into the axleplate.
Actually I'm still undecided on whether I like them or not. I may just end up welding a tab onto the axleplate and threading it. To push the axle back instead of the gimmicks.

I agree with Tatoo. People like to use S.S. for it's look and easy to clean but...

The stainless is only pushing the axle tight,,, the stainless is pushing against a grade 8 hex head that is threaded into the axle plate. Yes there is "load" on it, but it cannot go anywhere or break.
It is actually working out well on my bike, I think I will keep it.
