Haven't been on this site in a while. Update. These pics are about a year old but here's the story. The tank never held gas, finally found a replacement tank and just ran it. The bars have been changed a couple of times from the pics, I'll update eventually. I've added a bunch more stainless pot scrubbers to the pipe, still VERY loud, but good. Carb was really easy to get to about 95%, haven't bothered to try and tune it better as the bike pulls hard everywhere and the plugs are nice and tan. Lots of torque with instant throttle response. Changed a bunch of little things here and there, but no real problems to speak of.

I've got an idea to seal the backbone that Yamaha used as an airbox, and have the Honda tank gravity feed into it, then a bung/petcock to feed the carb. I think it would add over a gallon capacity. Never got around to it this year, maybe next winter.
