Just wanted to make a post looking for tips on building my first chopper. It's a 1971 xlch bottom end with 73-76 jugs to make it a 1000. I found it in a box, basket case style in the lesser used warehouse at my work, where it has sat for years, and i currently have it at the local "pre evo" shop being put back together and hardened valve seats put in. Once i have the engine/trans back, i'll be doing the rest of the work in my dad's workshop. Anything else i can do to make it a ride i can be confident in?
