I think it looks pretty cool. I'm doing this same bike for my younger brother, and I'll tell you one thing, I can't get over how FUNKY the frame design is! The seat portion especially. I think you should have it hardtailed by somebody. This is the route we plan on going. I'd probably also do a smaller headlight, but it's all just personal taste. Dig the bars and paint job. I see you also ditched the front ComStar wheel. Good one, there. I hated the later CM Comstars as opposed to the CB ones. They not only changed the design (in a bad way) they went smaller! There are so many differences between my CB400 and my brother's CM400. You probably wouldn't be able to tell just looking at pictures. I know I was fooled until I had his CM in the garage to compare. -

Im liking it man, bars look sick! But why the skate truck and wheels on the rear fender, not really getting that.Comment

65-70 is where I just about max. My bike kind of stutters a bit at first, but it gets there. Kind of afraid to ride it on the freeways for that reason, as I feel like I'm strangling it. Lol. Real fun to speed around town on it though. I bought a CB750 Hondamatic a while back ago and that is truly a blast to ride. I put the early carbs on it and it really hauls ass!Comment

Ditto.
I had a CM 250 ('84 I think) years ago that I would ride on the freeway all the damn time. I would hold that bitch peged for hours at a time. Never blew up on me LOL. I took good care of it tho, regular oil changes and all that shit. Had it for 2 years. It maxed out at 67MPH.Comment

Sweet Bike bro! I want to do something like that with my CM400a. I love that you changed out that comstar front wheel. Where did you get the wheel? I think that the CM400t had wire wheels. I want to change mine out but im not sure if i get something with different dimensions will it be problematic somehow.Comment

Paint looks good, definitely an improvement over all from the get go. I thought you had a board strapped to the fender at first then I realized theres a truck...no boardComment
