Congrats on the win!, and great to see you gettin' into the engine. I'm with Doug, wondering if you'll be doing anything to the bottom, especially with that new hot top on:

I am kinda wondering about a fresh top end on a worn out bottom end??... but might be wise to look at the whole assy holistically.

I am also wondering if that is a Durfee girder - is there a 5-number serial number stamped on the bottom of the lower tree?

Yes it is a Durfee. We’ll have to see about the bottom end. Guess I’ll be the Guinea pig. Happy to be at this point!
