Davestune is my true Ratbike hero.....no poser here he's the real deal...Him and his shitboxes got ugly the old fashioned way...years of riding and alcohol fueled mayhem. He's a hideous freak but at least it's real.

Gasposer, faking road wear is like a bad spray tan....which I suspect you may also indulge in....

    Don't be this guy.

Biggest thing that jumps out at me is the owner of the black bike has stripped and chopped his bike down to the bare essentials, making it as light and small as possible. Lane splitter handlebars. Mirrors, speedo, air cleaner cover, forward controls, rear fender, passenger seat and rear shocks? All gone. No saddlebags. No cover over the belt drive.

Everything has been blacked out. No chrome. Pipes look like they're shot in functional high-temperature paint or ceramic coated. No thickly padded seat. Just a skinny ass solo. Solid struts in the back give the bike a slammed look. Wire spoke wheels look more vintage over generic mags...

so what youre saying is you like the style of that bike better but the mix of brand new components and some artificially rusted areas appeals to you. ok got it. btw i like that bike too. i have burly slammers front and rear. the removal of chrome is a work in progress.......thx for your input

Absolutely! I'm fuckin retaaaaaaadid brah'. But, that picture was taken on a multi day RIDE with many others who also RIDE and we slept in the dirt ate meat drank beer and rode in the fucking rain. So...I got several days progress towards the RAT-BIKE look you so crave.

Not bolted on....not copied from someone else's spray gimmicks....just ridden.......

Oh, and since you plan on posing on your Sportster, a vagina is mandatory.
