Sold my two sportsters last year out of work due to breaking my hand working on one of them sportsters picked up a 78xs650 two days ago and dove back in hard
Plans are sweet and simple the bikes 90% where I envision mine to be just have to add the final touches and get this no fuel issue situated

I'm getting fuel into the float bowls cleaned all jets and passages will do again when I get off work just not getting fuel to the cylinders,if I let it sit a bit I'll get a quick 5sec run on her then dies out

    Plans include
    Weld On Rear Fender Mount
6" Wide Raw Steel Ribbed Bobber Fender
TC Bros. Kickback DIY Sissy Bar Kit
    TC Bros. 7/8" Bootlegger Handlebars
    Pillion Pad Passenger Seat
    Adding a front brake
And riding the piss out of it in sunny south Florida

Ran through the carbs more times then I care to mention. got it running finally, well on one cylinder so hash that issue out next.i need to drill out the plugs and strip it down farther, then attempt to sync them up. Also found out the po upgraded to the pamco setup which is a plus

Are you confident your floats are set correctly? That would be my first instinct.
