It reads like it got into a front end accident. New fork tubes and sliders. It says minor front end damage. That sounds a bit more than minor to me. I would make sure the frame isn't tweaked.

Speaking from experience, front end impacts (regardless of the severity) can do a number on the frame. I'd pay close attention to that.

^^^^true statement . I tweaked the neck on my frame ( 65 flh) from a relatively slow impact about 5mph. Put it on a frame jig and fixed it
