Packed for a roadtrip picture thread.

I Couldn't see an existing thread for this so I thought I would start one.

I love a road trip as much as the next guy and love to see bikes packed for the road.
Keen to see everyone's setups for big trips. Any home made gear or mods made to carry what you need?

A couple of pics from a recent trip of mine below.

Mods - If this thread already exists, feel free to delete or merge or whatever.

I made the sissy bar tall enough to support the Sweatshop industries rambo bag, also running a small swing arm bag made by La Rosa with a spare fuel bottle. Generally I keep the bag packed with a weekends worth of gear for a last minute bug out if I feel like it. Only real travel related mod to the bike is a wired in USB charger hidden in the battery compartment.

Nice looking Sporty man! And yea I'd be interested in seeing how others pack their stuff. I don't use saddle bags or anything, just bungee a backpack or whatever to my sissy bar. Always looking for good ideas tho.

There's a thread called 'motorcycle camping' or something similar that has a fair few pages and some good ideas. Yours looks like a decent setup though

I picked up some hard bags from street glide and built a bracket to mount them on my beat up old softail, way better than the old soft ones I had on there before.

Here's my setup. Just a dufflebag that fits a tent, sleeping bag, tools and some misc. shit. And it then sits on top of a jerrycan and a tool roll. Plenty for a few day ride.

Some nice setups here. Must be handy being able to strap things to the seat stay frame section on a hard tail without having to worry about suspension interfering.

Ground pad and duffel up front sleeping bag on back. Bungee all the way. Just enough for a fair weather September trip in Massachusetts. Gas up at sunrise and head out.

A day trip for work...tools in the backpack and leather on the front. Waiting in the ferry line to go to Marthas Vineyard.

But when I wanna go fast and far I take the Roadking. It's the Mr Potato Head of bikes. Stripped down just jam stuff in the bags and go.

Or If I'm taking the Woman and ALL of her accessories, then it's time to transform into La Z Boy mode hahahah

Last year when I went with my buddy to Cleveland. That windshield sucked in the rain because I couldn't see a damn thing.

124" w/Hillside Heads, Woods W9F cam, 11:3-1 comp, bored Super G carb with Thunderjet, RB Racing Pro Stock pipe no baffle, Wilwood brakes to slow it down and progressive susp for decent ride. Bike flies!
