Purple Rain Sportster build
After Prince died i Inherited the purple bike he drives around on in the movie Purple Rain.
I thought Id make it into a chopper so I did... heres some before during, and after pics.
all I have left to do is upholstery and some oil lines...
As I bought it..
Going with 19" rear and 21" front wheels..
Converted to 1200 and cut the camcover...

Well first off, I like where you are going with the bike, stance is a little higher in the front then my taste, but it certainly works on this one.
I have to ask the question though, as a piece of memorabilia from a recently deceased star of Prince's caliber, did you not consider selling it? Assuming you have the providence to demonstrate it's heritage, that bike would have been worth some serious money to a collector. Just wondering.
