    Default Breaker cam eccentricity

For reference: 77 ironhead. If I's setting the points gap and the small cam is set to .018, but when i rotate to the large cam I'm at about .020, should I be worried about having an eccentric cam? And in a larger scope, what is that indicative of as far as cams inside the the engine?

Cams are supported on both ends, so the likelyhood of a problem with the cam is almost nil. Most likely it's the bolt that holds the advance weights to the cam. I personally haven't dealt with this specifically, but I recall reading someone mentioning that if you have this issue, gently tap on the top advance weights to get the lobes centered.
