How much $$ in parts and labor does that massive amount of work translate to? (Ballpark, plus or minus a couple grand.)

How many actual (not billable which is much less) hours ya got in that bad boy?

That will give others a benchmark if they want to play in those leagues.

It's clean without a single gaudy part. You should be proud of this one!

Not sure without adding up all the payments .. ?? .. Which I hadn't done ..
But it would be a good guess to say over 20 K went into it ...

We started out with a complete STD 88 inch motor built by "Pandemonium" back in the mid 90's ..
After all was said and done, the only parts that got reused from that motor was the crank-cases, sprocket and pinion shafts ... Every other part in the build was bought new ...
And some of those parts were up there in $$

Looks awesome for sure Jesse! Why didn't he want to go with the CCE rocker box covers? I love those things, they look awesome.

Got a brand new set of the CCE and was going to run em ...
But had the idea to slick up Oem 55-up D-rings rocker covers..

The Pan covers are Polished Stainless Steel ...
Super nice Polish D-rings with Oem chrome screws ...
Running these keep the OG look of the Pan motor alive ...
Also wanted to keep the Covers kinda "Plain Jane" up there so the eye would focus on the other parts of the engine ...
Since we went to the 39 smoothly cam cover we lost the fins, the OG Pan covers fell into that same look too ...

Yup I can see how they go better with the smooth cam cover for sure. My next bike will be a pan for sure, don't care how much it costs lol.

Must have been shipped on a slow boat from China ....
But did get some of the needed supplies to finish the spark plug wires ...

Got some 90 degree wire boots for the Morris snap Mag ...
Running a Goodson Alum Mag Cap ... Wanted to make sure the spark wouldn't arc to the cap ...
With that type end on the wire, all is down inside the cap ... As opposed to having this type of terminal ...

Waiting on the boots and ends for the spark plugs to come in ...

I got these that I like alot ...

Positive spring locks onto the spark plug ... They also are soldered onto the wire ...

Hoping that they will work in the Husqvarna spark plug boots that are on the way .. ??

Well, speak of the Devil ....
UPS just dropped off the other stuff ..

Not all that sure how I'm going to run the wires to the other side... ??

Well, y'all know how it is when your wanting to custom every little area that can be seen ...

These smoothie keepers that are made by S&S Cycle are just one more touch of class for this motor ....

There it is, the very last parts needed to complete this motor build ....

Soon the owner will make a trip down here to pick it up ..

This thread is done and over as far as me having any more of a hand in it ..
Not saying it's closed, he will be sending me photos of the Scoot going together by his hands ....

Did another back up with parts a few days ago ..
The tranny that I spun together will be losing the Baker N1 top and will be seeing a Baker Jock lid up there..
Needed that in order to install a "Speed-E-Shift" (Aka; Nicki Shift) from Valhalla ....

Who's up for keeping this thread open in order to see a video of this Scooter going down the road ... ???

You kidding? I got a freshly built 51 Pan motor on a table in my hallway, it ain't shit compared to this one , even though it's porn to me. Yours is XXX- as for that shifter- wow. I saw one in Easyriders years ago on Armond Bletchers ride.
