my buddy's got a sabre that he never rides. maybe only 20 miles all last year, and less than that this year. he just got a boat and spends most of his time there. he want's a street glide real bad. he's not a big fan of the sabre, but the price was right when he bought it. it's severely neglected. it's covered with little shiny things, highway bars, big saddle bags, windshield...you get the idea. i wanna take it totally apart, put a 19 or 21 wheel on the front, strut it. it'd be cool. i'm just waiting on him to give up on it and give it to me.

How long are those struts, and is that the stock rear fender?

I think I did the struts at 9.5 inches and it is the stock rear fender shaved back a bit. Thanks for the kind words, I should never have sold it cause I'm gonna end up doing one for my wife this winter...

Here is my 2002 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100 My bike has a lot of history for me, I bought it from my preacher, wrecked it doing 70, chopped it up a bit. I enjoy it. I have done a boat load of small details and have plans for a bunch more. The overall look will stay the same. Im trying to build a bike I like, not a bobber, not a chopper, not a harley. I want a bike that is unique.

i wish there were more people chopping the modern shadows. i have a 2005 sabre 1100 that i ride every day from the day the snow melts to the day the snow falls and even then some. the chopper cuclture here is non existent unless you call occ knock offs choppers. anyway most people i talk tou have no idea why i whant apes or wraped exhaust or a bedliner pain job on a 2005 shadow . i have been triing to figure out a way to make a solo seat for it but have not decided what to do yet. i have also taken off 100 lbs of chrome

I really like the bike. Have a '07 Shadow Spirit 750. Do you have any problems with stuff flying off the front wheel and hitting the radiator?
